First, see the Publisher's list of errata.
The publisher's list of errata was at one time available from a URL at http://vig.prenhall.com. That link appears to be dead. The file available here dates from 2005.

In addition note these errata:

Page 31, Example 2.1.7
Replace "A/2" with just "A" in four places.

Page 44, Equation 2.1.42
Replace the symbol Script L (script "L") with the symbol Script T (script "T") in every instance. (Three replacements)

Page 68, Equation below the line that starts "To show. . ."
Replace dt with df.

Page 106, Problem 2.6 part 2 and following
The name of the function, x2(t), is missing and should be inserted. The corrected statement is:
2.   x2(t) = cos(120πt + π/3)
Then in the following parts each of the subscripts needs to be incremented by one so that the subscript matches the number of the part.

Also change Part 7 of this problem from
"x6(t) = x1(t) – x2(t), where x1(t) is even and x2(t) is odd" to
"x7(t) = xa(t) – xb(t), where xa(t) is an even function and
             xb(t) is an odd function"

(The authors do not intend to refer back to parts 1 and 2 of this problem. They instead wish to refer to any general even and odd pair of functions. Also, the subtraction sign in this problem statement is not an error.)

Updated 1/30/2012.

Page 158-159, Problems 3.1, 3.2, 3.3, 3.5, 3.6.
In each of these problems, when the authors mention, "DSB" they mean, "DSB-SC."

Page 163, Figure 4.2
The plot in the row labeled "FM Signal" and in the right-hand half of that row is just plain wrong. Ignore it. (A correct plot of this concept but using a different style of presentation can be found here.)               (posted 3/24/2016)

Page 206, Problem 4.16.
The units on the peak frequency deviation are incorrectly given.
Replace "Hz/v" with "Hz".
