Change, "DC lines have no reactance. . ."
to, "DC lines are immune to reactance. . ."
Page 64. The line above Eq. (3.32)
Change, "armature current neglected. . ."
to, "armature resistance neglected. . ."

In the equation for the power angle, change "V" to "|V|"
Page 115. Section 4.8
The heading
"INDUCTANCE OF COMPOSITE CONDUCTORS"
should be changed to
"INDUCTANCE OF BUNDLED OR STRANDED CONDUCTORS".
Four lines below the heading the word "composite" should be
replaced with "stranded or bundled".
Seven lines below the heading the word "composite" should be
replaced with "bundled".
Composite conductors make use of two or more
different types of materials for the various strands. ACSR is
one example of a composite conductor (See Figure 4.2, page
104.) Thre are other newer-techonology composite conductors.
For example see this news release. Composite conductors are not the
particular subject of Section 4.8 of this text.

In the caption, the word "composite" should be replaced with
the word "bundled". (See also the errata on page 115.)
