  Do 12.4, and use Power World to do 10.1, 10.8
  For problems 10.1 and 10.8 the "example of
  Chapter 5" is the one illustrated in Figure5.4,
  on page 89. (This is the one that neglects the
  line suseptances.)
 
  Hint: on 10.8, adjust bus 1 via the generator's
  desired set-point voltage, in the generator
  information dialong.
 
  Optional reading (but covered in lecture):
  STATCOM and Beyond from ABB.
  More optional reading: an excellent (but not
  comprehensive) summary of transmission lines.
